Dido and Theo
The adventure begins on the pillow.
Theo is four and experiences the same little and big feelings as many children: sometimes curious, sometimes tired, and sometimes simply not ready.
In the audio stories, Dido secretly lives on Theo’s pillow. Theo has no idea. Only the child listening knows Dido’s secret and follows along as he wonders, gets things wrong, and tries something new each day. Sometimes you hear Jette, Theo’s big sister, laughing through the door.
Dido doesn’t do things for Theo. He watches, wonders, and takes his own next step. They follow their paths side by side, each at their own pace.
Dido’s big dream
At night, Dido practices flying.
When the room is quiet and Theo is asleep, Dido’s favorite dream begins: he spreads his wings and flies past the window, right across the room.
For now, it’s only a dream. But that’s how all big things begin for Dido: with a picture in his mind and a small step the next morning.
Every character carries a theme.
The picture-book friends are more than supporting characters. Each reflects something children know from everyday life. A read-aloud story becomes a way to start a conversation: when something is on your child’s mind, there’s a character you can talk about without having to talk directly about your child.

Dr. Emma · When something ends, something new begins
The calm, wise doll. Dr. Emma once belonged to another child and was left behind. She has found a new place, and now she is the one who listens carefully and finds a next step for everything. Her words: “Interesting. Very interesting.”
For moments of goodbye: moving home, changing preschool, a broken favorite toy, or changes at home.
